Job description
The Certified Electrician assists the Operations and Technology teams and is responsible for achieving and maintaining required certifications, and work as part of the team maintaining and repairing all of the machinery used at FER-PAL.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment onsite for CCTV trucks and lining equipment.
- Provide in house and on-site support for miscellaneous electrical work.
- Provide technical support by phone.
- Create and read electrical schematics.
- Occasional evening and weekend work.
- Comply with all legislated and company health and safety practices and procedures.
Job requirements
Capabilities and Experience Required
- Five or more years of experience as a Certified Electrician.
- Maintain 309A Electrician Certification.
- Post-secondary education in related field.
- Forklift and scissor lift experience required.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and high level of thoroughness.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive and deliver results under pressure.
- Ability to work well with and without direct supervision.
- Own transportation, valid driver’s license,
- A clean driver's abstract for the past three years.
